Datorium is awarded a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe Impact Star

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe program has recognized Datorium as a leading technology company in Central Europe, naming it a laureate in the prestigious “Impact Stars” category. This award highlights organizations that excel in linking outstanding products or services with a positive impact on one or more key areas: society, business, innovation, environment, and diversity.

Datorium provides cutting-edge technology solutions for education and has developed and operates the first hybrid learning platform of its kind. Each week, 5,000 students from 90 schools across Latvia benefit from high-quality STEM education in subjects such as digital skills, coding, physics, and chemistry through Datorium. In this innovative model, students learn on their school premises while schools outsource primary curriculum subjects to Datorium, which delivers education via a hybrid synchronous learning approach enriched with gamification to engage and motivate students. By addressing the shortage of qualified STEM teachers, particularly in rural areas, Datorium ensures equal access to high-quality education for all students, regardless of location.

Datorium has also created the first localized, curriculum-based AI assistant for teachers, which has quickly become the leading AI tool for educators in Latvia and is steadily expanding globally. The platform generates excellent teaching materials tailored to national curricula from countries including Finland, Singapore, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland, with more being added.

Joining fellow Latvian innovators Swotzy and WeedBot in the esteemed “Impact Stars” category, Datorium celebrates not only its own achievements but also the remarkable growth of Latvia’s—and the broader Baltic region’s—technology ecosystem. This recognition underscores the strength and potential of the Latvian tech sector, which is increasingly becoming a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and impact-driven solutions.

We asked Datorium to share their thoughts on this recognition and their plans for the future.

Elchin Jafarov, Founder & CEO of Datorium:

“I am incredibly proud of the Datorium team, whose hard work and dedication made this achievement possible. I believe we will continue to make an impact not only regionally but on a global scale. Technology has transformed how we communicate, work, order pizza, and manage finances—education should be no exception. We will keep focusing on meaningful applications of technology in education to make it better, more relevant, accessible, and engaging.”
