Conference for teachers: “Artificial intelligence tools – teachers’ new assistants in modern education”

On 6 October, as part of this year’s CodeWeek, every teacher will have the opportunity to attend a conference and try various artificial intelligence (AI) tools that can make everyday tasks easier and help them work more productively by applying digital skills and modern AI solutions. The conference is organised by two of Latvia’s leading coding schools, Datorium and Learn IT, in cooperation with Valsts izglītības satura centrs.

Conference participants will receive certificates for completing an 8-hour professional development programme for teachers.

The conference is FREE for teachers from any educational institution.

Working language – Latvian.

Venue: Rīgas Valsts 3 Ģimnāzija (Grēcinieku iela 10, Rīga), in person from 9:00 – 16:30

Teachers are encouraged to bring their laptops to the conference, as they will take part in practical workshops on using AI tools throughout the day.

The conference welcomes all educators:

Educators working with all age groups, from preschool to secondary school

Teachers of all subjects (languages, mathematics, computer science, visual arts, physical education, etc.)

Teachers do not need any prior knowledge to participate

The conference will be held in Latvian (knowledge of English is not required)

The conference is free for educators from all educational institutions in Latvia
